How to Participate

Once you have completed the registration process, you can expect to receive an invitation to download the Ignite Tournaments app via Testflight ( iOS users) or Android App Tester (Android users).

Testflight and App Tester is a platform that allows developers to distribute and test pre-release versions of their mobile applications.

Tournament Rules

There are a set of rules that must be adhered to by all organizers and participants:

Cheating, colluding, or match-fixing in any form is strictly prohibited.
Cross-platform gaming with a PC is only allowed if approved by the organizer, including emulators.
Participants must provide their in-game names (IGN) to the tournament organizers before the tournaments start. Post your IGN in-app tournament chat. (If this is missing, prizes will not be paid out.)
To qualify for rewards, screenshot tournament results and post them in the in-app tournament chat to be eligible for prizes. (If this is missing, prizes will not be paid out.)
Players must show respect towards fellow participants unless the tournament organizers encourage trash-talking. (Regardless of the above rule, racist, hateful, homophobic, or derogatory speech targeted at users, community members, or staff will not be tolerated.
For games with ranking systems, participants should use their highest-ranked account.
Playing under someone else's name or substituting for another player is strictly prohibited.
The use of any kind of bots in-game is not allowed.
Tournament organizers have the right to disqualify players who arrive late or fail to show up.
Tournament organizers cannot compete in tournaments they create if they wish to be eligible for tournament administration fees.

While not all final features will be accessible during the Closed Beta Test, there are still numerous things to engage in! Throughout this phase, gamers will have the opportunity to:

Beta Feature Limitations

During our beta phase, we want to bring your attention to a few limitations that are currently in the works.

Please note the following limitations on some features in our current system:

Paid tournaments: You are unable to create tournaments requiring entry fees
No team-based Battle Royale mode: Currently, we only support PvP Battle Royales
Team vs. Team Duels: We only support two teams for duel matches with a maximum of 16 players per team (16v16.)
Adding personal funds to tournaments or wallet: You cannot deposit funds into your wallet and add them to any tournament
Automated multi-round elimination (brackets): Our system currently does not offer support for multiple match or elimination rounds. Individual rounds will need to be conducted instead

You can only select one winner for Battle Royale mode: At the time, only one winner per Battle Royale match can be selected
Player count per tournament: The current cap is 32 per tournament for PvP Battle Royale
Matchmaking and seeding: We do not have a matchmaking functionality; you can do this manually until it’s released
Canceling your tournament: If insufficient players join the tournament by the scheduled start time, your tournament will automatically be canceled
Editing/Changing times for your tournament
Team/Guilds: You cannot create a custom team or guild in the app

How Long Will Closed Beta Be?
